CALL TO ORDER: President Debbie Herbert called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. In attendance were President Debbie Herbert, Vice-President Anna Jesse, Treasurer Susan Strahle, Secretary Tami Long; Trustees Donna Hayes, Linda Wiles and Salli Pritts. Librarians Vicki Carr, Lori Nixon.

TRUSTEE/COMMITTEE REPORTS: Annual Review of Policies, completed Sexual Harassment Training for Trustees (training book at the library), completed Open Meetings Act Training (on-line), Vicki reminded to complete

ALA Grant-Libraries Transforming Communities

Created budget spreadsheet to track Grant usage. Vicki/Lori will create one for each active Grant that we have.

September 14th at 10:30 am Retention of Records Meeting with State of IL Secretary of State Office

Library Crawl-October-Libraries banned together to do the “Library Crawl”. An encouragement to visit other libraries. The patrons will be given a card and when they visit other libraries their card will be stamped. When five have been stamped on their card, they will be given an ornament from us with our logo. 123 libraries in the State of IL are participating. ILA Membership-If a member, some educational classes are free. More perks offered. Susan motioned to accept; Tami seconded. All Board Members in favor. The Ordinance reviewed last month regarding Levying the property taxes at South Macon Public Library District has been posted but now we have to vote on it. Linda motioned to accept; Donna seconded. Roll called each Board Member and all Board Members in favor.

A motion to adjourn was made by Salli, seconded by Linda. Board Members in favor. Meeting was adjourned at 6:20 pm.
