UNFINISHED/ONGOING:
GRANTS

- Acceptance letter on 2/26/25 for the third round of funding ALA Grant –
Libraries Transforming Communities Round 3 – $10,000 received funds
5/1/25 – Community Meeting was held with the Senior Citizens Group on
7/1/25.
- Acceptance letter on 11/19/24 for the second round of funding for Illinois
Humanities $10,000 Grant for our Community Engagement Coordinator
received funds 12/16/24.
- IL Humanities Grant Round 3 application – submitted.
- IL State Historical Records Grant Program for 2026 we are meeting with a
group from Decatur Public Library on a possible partnership with them for
the coming years Grant.

• Nov. 1st – National Authors Day – Worksheets and Quizzes around the library.

• Nov. 13th – Next of Kiln Children Christmas Ornaments

• Dec. 6th – Pickle Murder Mystery 11AM

Staff Education and Meetings

• Narcan Training required for all staff by Jan. 1, 2026 – working with Macon County Health Department for area training.
